Join us at Ogle County Brewery Saturday, May 20th from 7:00-9:00 pm as we celebrate the release of Burdens Down’s newest record ‘Fallen Idol’! ‘Burdens Down’ is the rock project of local musician/songwriter, Korey C Pepper, whom combines a raw and gritty punk/grunge tone, while writing lyrics from the heart, meant to inspire and advocate for the downtrodden and struggling. ‘Fallen Idol’ is locally recorded and produced at Black Diamond Studios in Freeport, IL, by Mark Frazer. “There’s many people, right in our own communities that feel very marginalized and outcast. This album and these songs are meant to inspire us to do something together that’s bigger than music. My hopes with everything I write is to be voice of comfort and encouragement for those who are struggling and feel alone. Together let’s make a real effort and help raise awareness around depression and suicidal behaviors. Nobody deserves to be stigmatized. Let's push to encourage transparency by encouraging positive dialogue, intentional interaction, and friendly engagement.
