Vinyasa (translates to “flowing with breath”) is a dynamic style of yoga creating a steady internal rhythm for the practice. Our Flow class is designed to cultivate heat in the body with sequences involving sun salutations, standing and floor postures. Class starts with a breathing exercise, then we gradually move into our flows and finish up with some restorative poses. Expect to sweat a little during our flows. Please bring a mat, a hand towel, water and wear comfortable clothes. This is a one-hour class, we kindly ask you to arrive a little early, so you are ready to go when class starts.

My name is Alberto. Yoga came into my life when I needed it the most and it transformed my life in a positive way. In order to advance my personal practice, I decided to attend a 5-month Yoga teaching training at OM studio in Monterey in February of 2022. I had never intended to teach, just really interested in advancing my practice and studying yoga philosophy. Little did I know that I would be offered a teaching position at The Yoga Co (formerly Kamal yoga) in Hollister before I finished my studies. At the same time an opportunity to volunteer to teach at the YMCA also presented itself, which I did for a few months. 10 months later, I am still teaching at The Yoga Co and continue to truly enjoy it. I intertwined pranayama (breathing), yoga flows, and restorative poses through the class to provide a whole-body benefit. By the end of my class, you will feel energized yet relaxed.
