Calling in BIPOC community leaders, change agents, past and current CoThinkk grantees and applicants, Leadership & Next Generation nominees and awardees, and all individuals of color in Asheville and Western NC - to celebrate and amplify BIPOC giving. CoThinkk is a social change philanthropy organization designed to create supportive networks, accelerate systemic change and seed new initiatives through a shared leadership model that works outside the shrouded, competitive, and exclusive traditional philanthropic model. We root ourselves in our ancestral giving norms as Black, Brown, and people of color - amplifying and reclaiming our traditions as givers, and therefore, philanthropists. By centering our members as philanthropists, we center on our own power, determining collectively where investments will go, and lead with community wisdom - enabling us to share, build, wield power through our ancestral traditions of collective giving. Join us in courageous conversation and acknowledgement of our collective power as we deepen relationships and collaborations together. We will be taking our seats at the giving table together and demystifying the CoThinkk space and our roles as social change philanthropists by exploring what is possible when we knit our work together across regional tables to drive systemic and transformational change in our communities. 📣 CoThinkk is offering a Membership Solidarity Investment for folx of color that attend our Calling In event on April 4, 2023. Participants will be offered a one year Solidarity Investment from CoThinkk for their first annual membership dues (value of $250).
