Kern County has one of the highest rates of Black pregnancy-related deaths and preterm births. The Kern County Black Maternal Festival will bring resources and education together to support Black women and all women through community.
The Kern County Black Maternal Festival is for all mothers to be, mommies, mommas, grandparents, health care providers, vendors, and community at large. The first 100 attendees will receive a FREE GIFT BAG. There will be many vendors, educational opportunities, and raffles. ShePower partners with Ravens Nest to create a day to engage and educate in Community about prenatal massage, doula care, childbirth education, dietician and nutrition, skin care, vaccinations and total pre, during and post health care with the inaugural Kern County Black Maternal Festival.

New and expectant parents, along with mothers, fathers, grandparents, medical providers and community at large should attend. A few vendor spots are still available.
