The Council of Administrators of Special Education, FloCASE and eLuma are excited to invite you to the Special Education event of the year! This very special and FREE event will feature Laurie VanderPloeg, the current Co-Executive Director of the Council of Exceptional Children, Phyllis Wolfram, the Executive Director of theCouncil of Administrators of Special Education, as well as several other distinguished guests. This symposium will provide updates from the most current reform measures related to not just compliance, but to best practices that will make a difference in how to best serve students . Symposium topics will include: Florida policy, legislation, and all the latest topics and trends.The latest trends and cases in Florida Special Education Law.National trends as well as current and upcoming legislation affecting Florida.National policy guidance and best practices.Resources, grants, and support for Florida Special Education DirectorsADR and Advocacy.Event tickets are on a first-come first serve basis and are limited to 125 spots (max of 5 per district).
