For the person that's never played the game of Blackjack it can be very intimidating. It's generally a fast paced game played in a fast paced high sensory environment. That's where Cheers with Chel and your Blackjack101 Experience comes in! We're going to take the edge off and allow you to not only learn the game but enjoy the experience of learning. Sit down at an actual Blackjack table and roll up your sleeves to learn with real live Blackjack dealers! Chel will be our pit boss extraordinaire for an evening of education, and fun, while you learn to play Blackjack in a realistic setting without all the pressure to already know what the heck you're doing. Before the end of class, you'll actually be playing the game in real time and building your confidence to play in a public setting in the future. Meet Chelsea Herriman, our Pit Boss for the evening. Chelsea has been planning and hosting casino nights in Southwest Michigan for two decades. She loves to entertain and is a delightful witty soul that really enjoys giving it her all for each and every event she plans with her hosts. She's a wife, mother of two delightful daughters and resides in Portage, Michigan. Alpha Omega events is her corporate event planning service and she's the planner that plans with you. Do you already kind of know how to play Blackjack and just feel like a refresher would be something that you're interested in? Maybe you know how to play! Well, you can join us too! Bring a friend that doesn't know the game and help them learn so that you can Blackjack together on down the road! The best part about just about anything we do in life is the relationships that we make along the way. A group of friends at a Blackjack table sure sounds like a good time to us! Our venue for the evening is Viva Fajita, located at 5402 Portage Rd, Portage, Michigan; across from the Kalamazoo Airport. Class starts at 7 pm (doors to the Blackjack room open at 6:45). We encourage you to join us at Viva Fajita for dinner before the class starts, or maybe for some snacks and a lovely beverage! Our hosts are very familiar with the game of Blackjack and they are excited to welcome you to their venue!
