Description

This year's Carthage Sustainability Summit is a university forum where locals, students, faculty, and staff come to learn from environmental experts on the current and future state of our community. As the world more rapidly adopts sustainable ventures such as renewable energy, land conservation projects, and eco-friendly consumerism, it is becoming increasingly apparent that we will not only be subject to a sustainable society, but contribute to it. This summit explores what the greener future will look like, what our roles will be inside our own community, and how we can equip ourselves now - as individuals, families, and businesses - to reap the economical and physiological benefits of a cleaner world. Sustainability is something that can be achieved now. Come to the summit for free to learn about how its value extends to our natural environment and beyond, from energy independence to healthier living, new developments of culture and politics, and the scalability of a single action as it impacts the lives of others. Happy Earth Month! **Limited number of participants allowed! Sign up before you miss out! **Event is free to attend for everyone. Donations are encouraged and greatly appreciated. All money will go towards funding sustainability initiatives on campus and making this event carbon neutral.
