Join us for a fun day of volunteering to celebrate Earth Month! Meeting Point: 311 Bowman St, Mansfield OH Contour Lines Corp, One Tree Planted, and The Food Lab are collaborating with the NECIC Urban Farm to plant 1,000 trees and create a food forest in an effort to build community, promote small business development, and revitalize a previously vacant lot. Volunteers will participate in a hands-on educational workshop to help plant, compost, and mulch trees. Please remember to: Wear Sturdy closed-toe shoes or boots with good traction.Long pants and long-sleeved shirts to protect your skin from scratches and insect bites.Layers of clothing appropriate for the weather conditions.A hat or cap to protect your head and face from the sun.Bring A reusable water bottle to stay hydrated.Sunscreen and bug spraySnacks if you're a snack-y personA positive attitudeIf you registered for the event and have to cancel, please get in touch with [email protected] We look forward to seeing you there!
