The Salisbury Jaycees have partnered to host this year's Adaptive Easter Egg Hunt at the Fruitland Falcons Youth Sports Complex. This free event will take place Saturday March 25, from 10 a.m.-noon.
The Adaptive Easter Egg Hunt is for children ages 3-15 who have physical or mental disabilities and their siblings. There will be different types of egg hunts for children who have different disabilities. For example, the egg hunt for children with visual impairments will feature beeping eggs, and the egg hunt for children who use wheelchairs will include grabbers so that they can pick up eggs.
Young adults ages 16-25 who have physical or mental disabilities will also be able to join our larger final hunt. For this egg hunt, please arrive by 10:30 a.m. for the 11 a.m. egg hunt.
The Easter Bunny will be on-site, as well as games and face painting.
