After a few years postponing the event during the pandemic, UCLR is thrilled to announce that our Cesar Chavez Peace & Justice Awards Banquet is back! The Cesar Chavez Peace & Justice Awards Banquet 2023 (CC23) is a community awards event, honoring those individuals and organizations who embody the legacy of Cesar Chavez through their work, their advocacy, and their impact for Utah's Latino Community. Nominations for the Cesar Chavez Peace & Justice Awards and the Robert "Archie" Archuleta Lifetime Achievement Award are open until February 28, 2023. The nomination form is available at uclr.org. This year's theme is ¡Resiliencia! as we acknowledge all that Utah's Latino communities have endured through the pandemic along with longstanding challenges we keep working to overcome.
