The Nevada Department of Veterans Services invite you to a free, 2-day training workshop that sets you on the path to becoming a Nevada Veterans Advocate (NV Advocate). NV Advocates are trained to answer questions on state of Nevada and federal benefits, & resources and programs earned through military service. This workshop will help introduce, train, and update those interested in becoming an NV Advocate. Certificates and an Advocate polo shirt will be provided to individuals who complete the 2-day event. April 15th-16th, 2023 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., both days Reno Sparks Convention Center, Rooms F1 & F2 4590 South Virginia Street Reno, NV 89502 Registration at the door on Saturday, April 15th, begins at 7:00 a.m. Limited scholarships are available to help pay for lodging and mileage (must be 75 miles away).
