Hell is an American doom metal solo project formed in 2008 by M.S.W., a multi-instrumentalist from Salem, Oregon. Hell began as a creative outlet for M.S.W., but it eventually gained momentum and grew to include a touring band. According to M.S.W., the project disregards typical religious themes and instead focuses on the concept of a "personal Hell." Glasghote began in 2017 in the basement of founding members Jake Shaffer and Jordan Huston's home writing what was the beginning of their first full length album. With only a few songs and a handful of riffs Chad Johnson shortly joined, forming the trio to create bone shattering tones and a wall of sound in tow. In one short year Glasghote signed to Doom Stew Records and released "Rite of the Siren"
