Description

World Water Day is March 22 so come celebrate San Antonio's beautiful river at Brackenridge Park. The river encourages economic development, connects communities of San Antonio, and provides space for people to enjoy recreational activities. It helps our community with flood mitigation and encourages native vegetation. Acknowledge this powerful resource by practicing Forest Bathing. No, there is no actual bathing involved but rather a bathing of your senses to the forest and water around. Iimmerse yourself in Forest Bathing's guided meditation; pleasures of presence, which will focus on connecting our senses to the river at the park. After the guided meditation part, participants will be invited to participate in partnership invitations which encourage a deeper awareness of the surrounding nature. Forest Bathing is concluded with "Tea under the Trees". Please meet at the Train depot at the park. Bring water, sunscreen and bug spray, if needed and wear comfortable shoes. I am making this event donation based as it is part of Forest Bathing and Wellness mission to make this practice accessible to everyone. If you are able to contribute a donation of $20 would be greatly appreciated. I look forward to sharing World Water Day with you!
