Objective:
Attendees and organizations will walk away with an understanding of how each have worked within their own silos while supporting women and girls in their success over the last 100 + years. They subsequently will learn from each other about the disparities they may have regarding DEIA (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Access) within their organizations and hopefully, will continue to seek out education and awareness regarding DEIA in each individual organization.
It is hoped that an open conversation on how to support, advocate and reach out to honestly support individuals and organizations will produce a cohesive support for women seeking additional education, running for an office, board, or starting a business in our community.
Participants will also walk away with a clearer understanding of legislation, voting, lobbing and educational opportunities. They will also become more cognizant of how much power and influence a supportive and diverse change-maker organizations in our communities can have.
