Two-day mini camps will be held during the winter and/or spring school breaks for I Am program youth participants, ages 10 to 14. These camps are designed to provide youth opportunities to further develop community connections and put newly acquired skills into practice. This mini-camp will give youth opportunities to further explore their cultural identity through hands-on indoor and outdoor activities designed to challenge and inspire them. In keeping with the I Am foundational concepts of multiculturalism and nature immersion, various camp activities will be held in local natural spaces. Mini camps will include activities focused on cultural and self identity as well as weather appropriate adventure activities such as hiking, sailing, and snowshoeing. I Am program adventure partners include NIC Outdoor Pursuits and Dogsmile Sailing.
