Paddle to Remember in your choice of a kayak, canoe, or stand-up paddleboard (SUP) to benefit Alzheimer’s research, caregiver support, and advocacy. Alzheimer’s is the sixth largest cause of death in the US and terribly hard on individuals and families. Every registrant is entered to win door prizes by our donors including Yeti, Frescas Chicken, Amy’s Ice Cream, and others. Must register by 3/31! Additional prize for the best purple attire. Event powered by our presenting sponsor Rowing Dock! $30* registration includes one door prize ticket and daily rental fee (including group paddle). You are welcome to paddle on your own from 9am - 8pm. All proceeds from this event go to ALZ.org. Additional door prize ticket for each $10 donation. All proceeds from rentals and donations go to fight Alzheimer’s, a heartbreaking disease that will be beat if we continue to fund the research for treatments and prevention. If you want to paddle in a double kayak or canoe with a friend, you will both need a ticket. Guests will be required to show proof of their ticket purchase, sign a liability waiver, and bring a valid state-issued ID and matching credit card to put on file for incidentals. Boat rentals will be available on a first-come-first-served basis. General Admission rental guests will check-in at Rowing Dock and wait in line for processing. We suggest coming earlier in the day to avoid the crowds. Guests must arrive and be checked in by 6:45 pm in order to get out on the water. Guests who arrive past 6:45 pm will not be put on the water and tickets will not be refunded.Refund Policy Tickets may be transferred, but refunds will not be offered. If the event is canceled due to inclement weather or any other unforeseen circumstances, guests will be issued a digital gift certificate to Rowing Dock in the equivalent value of their ticket(s).
