Get ready taco-loving friends of Downtown Johnson City, the Taco Trek Ride is back and better than ever! What began as a few friends grabbing post-ride grub at Holy Taco and Cantina has grown into a city wide monthly celebration of all things bikes with hundreds of riders cruising through the streets of downtown. Do you own a bike? Do you have a great attitude? Do you love tacos?!? Great! You're in. NEW FOR 2023: What's with the Saturday date??? We've added a super special ride on 9/16 as we celebrate the first WORLD WIDE Taco Trek ride! Trek stores across the globe will be hosting their own Taco Trek's and of course we'll be joining in on the fun. Who wants to win a new bike and FREE TACOS FOR A YEAR?! Of course you do, and all you have to do is ride with us! Every Taco Trek is an entry and at the last ride in October we'll draw one lucky winner who will take home a brand new Trek bike and grub up with a years supply of tacos from Holy Taco. It's basically like winning the lottery on Christmas with a four leaf clover in your pocket. DETAILS: The 30 minute, casual paced, family friendly ride kicks off from our store at 6:30PM sharp on the first Tuesday of the month though October and ends at Holy Taco (only 1 block away). Robert King Photography will be along the route to capture you and your crew at it's finest...who knows you just might end up in the Trek Bicycle catalog! All riders, big and small, must fill out the ride waiver and get their wristband inside Trek prior to the ride. The Taco Trek ride is completely free to attend. Helmets are required, and locks for the post party are recommended. Be a part of the ride that started it all, we'll ride with you SOON!
