With a focus this year on a celebration of theatre from around the world and around the corner, the festival will feature family and youth-focused performances that include a wide array of performing artists and groups for the 17th annual celebration. The founding mission of the festival, created by Voices of the South, was to create a safe, educational, affordable, and exciting atmosphere in which children and families can attend innovative theatre and participate in arts-oriented activities that foster imagination. The children’s festival acquaints the community with the work of Memphis artists, promotes arts awareness, and helps build a stronger, more invigorated community.
