The intention of this workshop is to share practical knowledge and basic skills through a hands-on learning experience for the soul purpose of empowering others to create a home garden of their own. An agenda has been created below, providing a rough outline of the workshop flow. Following the workshop, a pdf file of supporting information discussed during the workshop will be emailed to all participants. Kristy Pace, Owner/Creator of Sacred Wild Roots, is a 2nd year Apprentice and Mentor at School of the Sacred Wild, where she has been receiving training in herbalism, holistic wellness, permaculture and earth care practices. Kristy has had an affinity with the natural world since her days as a young child playing in her grandmothers fruit-filled Floridian garden. Jason, too, has had a deep connection to nature since his childhood years, helping his father in the garden and spending many of his younger days backpacking and hiking in the wilderness. Kristy and Jason have been gardening together for over 18 years, and since moving to Wilmington three years ago, have enjoyed connecting with the land here and experimenting with a variety of gardens to create more diversity and balance for the health and healing of the land.
