Get a glimpse of what it’s like to live downtown! On Saturday, May 6, from 2pm-6pm, Downtown Joplin Alliance invites you to join its inaugural 2023 Downtown Loft Tour, showcasing historic properties available to rent or buy in the downtown area. This "open house-style" tour will take you into some of downtown's most fascinating properties--some units will be fully furnished and occupied, others will still be in process of renovation. Expect to even see a few properties where restoration has not yet begun! The final lineup of buildings will be unveiled as the tour draws closer, but participants will be able to visit the Olivia Apartments, the Muir Building, the Independent Building, and Pennington Lofts. Tickets are $25 per person and will grant entry to all eight properties on the tour, as well as a guidebook. Seperate tickets are also available for our VIP Twilight Rooftop Reception! Join us on the roof of the historic Columbian Building at 420 S Main St from 7pm-9pm, for live music, a signature cocktails, and light snacks. Tickets are $75 each and limited in quantity (Loft Tour tickets must be purchased seperately). This is a rain or shine event--no refunds given. All proceeds will benefit Downtown Joplin Alliance, a 501c3 nonprofit dedicated to the revitalization of our historic downtown district.
