The Heartland (Polk) and Pine Lily (Osceola) chapters of the Florida Native Plant Society are holding a joint hike at the Circle B Bar Reserve! This is open to the public - you do not have to be an FNPS member.
LOCATION: Circle B Bar Reserve; 4399 Winter Lake Road (SR 540); Lakeland, FL 33803. For Google maps use Polk’s Nature Discovery Center, Discovery Drive, Lakeland, FL. Meet in the Nature Center parking lot.
DESCRIPTION: Hike has lots of opportunity to observe plants and wildlife. Approximately 4 miles in length but exact route depends on conditions of trails and any closures.
PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED AT THIS LOCATION. We do not recommend this hike for children under the age of 13.

BRING OR WEAR: Closed toe / Hiking shoes, brimmed hat, water, snacks, sunscreen, and insect
repellent. Cameras and binoculars are welcomed. We recommend downloading I-naturalist app for help in identifying plants and animals.
