Fraud is an ever-growing problem that affects everyone, both businesses and consumers alike. With the speed at which technology evolves, so do scammers as they are continually developing new and sophisticated methods to steal your hard-earned money. Eric Goff, CRCM, Vice President and Fraud Officer at First United Bank & Trust will lead the workshop and provide some insights to our community that will help prevent you, your family, your friends and your businesses from being the next victim. We will discuss the most prevalent fraud schemes that the financial industry sees on a daily basis. Real-life examples will be shared, with tips on how to protect your money.
