This month's convivium will be featuring a talk by Christina White, co-owner & operator of Native Candy, a small, wholly native-owned business dedicated to traditional harvesting practices and providing the local community direct access to tribally caught wild salmon. They sell their quality fresh and smoked salmon at farmers markets in Portland, Seattle, the Columbia Gorge, and from their storefront in Bingen, WA.
Samples of Native Candy's smoked salmon will be provided for tasting.
Beverages will be available for purchase from Cookshop.
Everyone is welcome, this event is free, yet it is ticketed because space is limited.
