Come enjoy Showfields' first open mic poetry night by Aurore featuring 2Chill Phyl! Phyl, often called "2chillphyl" is a native Washington, D.C. poet who has been writing for over 20 years. She has been featured at Busboys & Poets, Phreespace, D.O.P.E. Tribe, Release Open Mic, Sankofa DC, Piano Keys and more to come! She is a two-time winner of the 9th Hour Poetry Slam hosted by Charity J. Blackwell at Busboys & Poets. Coming Soon in 2023, she will release her debut book "Phylosophy", curate writing sessions, and artists centered spaces for youth in D.C.
