LOSS – Local Outreach to Suicide Survivors – is an active postvention model. This model involves two or more volunteers, called a LOSS Team, proactively going to the scene of a suicide to provide immediate support to those left behind. The Clark County Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) Local Outreach to Suicide Survivors (LOSS) Team will be hosting a training.

Denise Meine-Graham with the Ohio Suicide Prevention Foundation (OSPF) will present. Denise was a founder of LOSS Community Services, a non-profit organization supporting the bereaved by suicide through suicide postvention programs in Columbus (Franklin County). She now works as a consultant supporting the OSPF in creating a sustainable approach for communities launching collaborative suicide postvention programs
