Evening is the perfect time to be on the trail; evening into night is all the better. On this 2-mile hike we take in the transition as nature's day shift punches out, the night shift reports for duty. This hike is on the Smith River Greenway, a flat trail with a finely crushed gravel surface -- foot friendly and ideal for walking in the dark. (Flashlights/headlamps are suggested. Don't have one? We'll have loaners.)
This hike begins at the Reynolds Brewery and ends there as well; about as good as trailheads get. This hike is beginner and family friendly.
