The Kith and Kin program provides training and support to parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, neighbors that are helping each other take care of their young children from birth to 5 years of age. The program offers a 7 week series that meets once a week for 2 hours, in which the training sessions cover early childhood topics including: NutritionGuidance and DiciplineAges and StagesBrain DevelopmentLanguage and LiteracyThese classes will be offered in Spanish and English with different starting times. With the completion of these classes, we offer free CPR and First Aid Certification, proper Car Seat installation, and home safety. While the participants are in the training sessions, children spend time working on activities that help them prepare for pre-schoool!
