Join Sema Hadithi African American Heritage & Culture Foundation and Hyrum City Museum as we work together to collect and preserve Utah's history. Bring your photos and documents to scan: those with and without Black People. Bring a USB to take your digital and originals home. Donate a copy to Sema Hadithi Foundation (Black History) and Hyrum City Museum (other history). All donors will receive a special certificate. Do you know that a LARGE portion of history resides within our homes as photographs, letters, newspapers/news clippings, and documents? When elderly family members die, so does a large chunk of history. Younger family members see these items as "old" and put them in the trash. Scan-n-Go Events such as this is a way to go around Utah and collect copies of these items in order to preserve history that would otherwise be forever lost. We need YOU to help us preserve Utah's history. We are grateful to Vivid-Pix for their donation of the equipment to save and preserve Utah's history.
