On Saturday, March 11th, at noon, Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome will be the featured speaker for “She’s A 10: Women’s History Brunch & Book Release.” Dr. Maria Shantell Williams, founder of The Relationship Institute and author of "She’s A 10: The Professional Black Women’s Guide to Embracing Personal & Professional Greatness" presents this event to honor women in the community who have overcome personal and professional challenges and have made great strides in their career and service to others. LaTangela Fay of Cumulus Media will host the event. The Voyage Band will render live music. The event will be hosted at The Relationship Institute, conveniently located in Mid-City at 2427 Government Street, Baton Rouge, LA 70806. The event is free and open to the public.
