Understand your personality and what you might need to focus on during retirement to avoid pitfalls after leaving your job.How to deal with the big feelings that come up along the way.This workshop is great for anyone contemplating retirement. If you’re already retired, you can refine, redefine and tweak your plan. Participants will leave with a workbook full of practical tips, questions to consider, and tools that they can use to craft their own retirement experience. About Karen Kindred Karen Kindred has over forty years of experience in individual and couples therapy, and recently retired. Karen had a financial plan for retirement, but didn't have a plan for her time. This led to feeling unsettled, anxious and depressed. Karen realized that she could use the tools of her craft to architect her retirement. She wants to share what she has learned with as many people as possible so that everyone can enjoy this time, have peace of mind, relevance, self-respect, fulfillment and FUN too! Karen is an interactive, solution-focused therapist. Her approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. She integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. Using her extensive experience with Myers-Briggs personality inventory she helps clients build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing. Karen holds a masters degree in social work and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Utah.
