The objective of this program is to provide legal guidelines and information to entrepreneurs and businesses in our community starting and managing their companies including the following topics: 1. Comparison of various corporate structures, state registrations, and tax considerations. Review of corporate governance and various legal issues involved in starting and managing any company and where litigation can often occur. (Marwa ElZankali from McManis Faulkner ( https://www.mcmanislaw.com/people/lawyers/marwa-elzankaly). This is the profile she provided (Marwa Elzankaly is a trial lawyer and has been practicing for over twenty years. She was a Partner at McManis Faulkner for five years and is currently Of Counsel there, where she manages many of the firm's high-stakes commercial litigation cases in areas such as securities fraud, antitrust, intellectual property disputes, breach of contract, and various business torts. Marwa has been honored with numerous awards for her work, including the 2020 National Winning Litigators award by the National Law Journal, and the 2009 Attorney of the Year Award by California Lawyer magazine.Marwa has practiced in both State and Federal courts and has argued before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in a nationally televised appearance on C-Span). 3.
