Guest speaker Jabbar CollinsJabbar Collins BioWrongly convicted of murder when he was 21 years old, Jabbar Collins spent 15 years in a maximum-security prison. Despite numerous setbacks along the way, he persevered and spurred on by his faith in God, Jabbar took a number of steps to prove his innocence which finally succeeded in winning his release in 2010. Having had such an experience wouldn’t you harbor bitterness toward the justice system? That is not the case with Jabbar Collins.
Come hear how faith in Jesus Christ enabled him to see God’s hand in each step of his journey and make him an advocate for others who have been unjustly accused, a story that has been chronicled in the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, and a host of other media outlets. In addition to advocating for others, Jabbar has served as an adjunct professor at St. John’s Law School, on the NYC Mayor’s Legal Transition Committee, and as a Board Member at Inspire Sports Camp, a program for at-risk youth.
Jabbar will be speaking at the Mens Good Friday Breakfast sponsored by Christian Business Mens Connection (CBMC) on Good Friday, April 7 at the Westin – Governor Morris Hotel in Morristown, NJ.
Come early - Doors open at 6:30 am.
