APRIL FOOL'S COMEDY SHOW @ THE STATION! Another killer pro stand up comedy show comes to Nansemond Brewing Station on April Fool's Day! No Joke! Tickets below for the April 1st 8pm show. The lineup: HOST: NICK DEEZ SPECIAL GUESTS: MATT HUBBARD, TREVON WOODHOUSE FEATURE ACT: SONYA KING HEADLINER: MIKE EASMEIL Opening the show is your host for the evening NICK DEEZ who brings a relaxed yet sharp delivery with his material. He is hitting tons of mics in both the 757 and the Richmond area and it is easy to see why he is getting booked tons! He's also a regular at the Va Beach Funny Bone and at all the hot mics around town. He's comfy on stage and his jokes and interaction with the crowd are done in a smooth way that makes you feel you're just hanging out with him laughing on a bar stool. He'll get your settled then bring all the comics up! Next up is Special Guest comic MATT HUBBARD who is a regular at the Push Comedy Theater and who can be seen hosting at Cozzy's Comedy Club in Newport News. Matt is gaining traction in the stand up scene in the 757 by being himself and talking about his life, wife, being a new parent and other challenges. He's a funny dude but many people think he took this gig at the Station just because the beer is so good out there. They are probably right but yeah he's a comical fella, too! Then you'll see Special Guest comic TREVON WOODHOUSE take the stage. At the age of 15, Trevon started writing and posting comedy sketches on the internet eventually leading the way to him having two monetized channels on YouTube. He is one of the creators of the podcast called "DaBreakRoom" and each week can be seen producing and performing a comedy show at "Chemistry," a venue at the oceanfront. Besides being a content creator, he is an actor, director, writer and of course, a stand up comic where you may have seen him win a "Clash of the Comics" comedy contest at the Virginia Beach Funny Bone. Your Feature Act comic SONYA KING will then take the stage. Sonya is an experienced joker who has performed in 15 states professionally and has performed stand up on ABC's "The View" while making Whoopi Goldberg giggle! Her delivery can be described perfectly as brutally deadpan. Her jokes are sharp, smart and silly and they will catch you when you least expect it. She is a regular at colleges and clubs and can't wait to bring her quiet comedic thunder to the Station! Closing out this show is the very sharp, smart and funny MIKE EASMEIL who is a Palestinian-American comic living in Virginia Beach. In decades of performing, Mike has earned his place as a favorite of comedy clubs up and down the east coast. He likes having fun onstage highlighting the absurdities we take as normal everyday events. Mike is honored to have performed on some of the biggest stages abroad and in America such as Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center. His next stop? Nansemond Brewing Station in Suffolk!
