Join Teton Backcounty Alliance for this year's one night Backcountry Film Festival featuring local film Soñadora. Vanessa Chavarriaga and Sofia Jaramillo will introduce, and discuss the story of the film and the journey to its creation.
Tickets are $20 + taxes and fees. Tickets are limited and expected to sell out.
Doors open at 6pm at the Old Wilson Schoolhouse Community Center with beer and pizza available.
Show starts at 7pm with the Soñadora film team opening the eveing with a discussion of their film.
The Winter Wildland Alliance screens cinematic stories of outdoor stewardship, grassroots policy and advocacy work, backcountry adventure, and snow cinema by human-powered advocates, athletes, brands, activists, adventures, and outdoor enthusiasts celebrating the connecting between humans and wild winters. A collage of human-powered stories and backcountry-inspired experiences, Backcountry Film Festival ignites wild conversations and inspires action to communities that celebrate the present while looking towards the future.
The 18th Annual Backcountry Film Festival is screening documentaries and ski movies about athletic pursuit in the mountains, artistic vision, friendship, and how the snowsports community is adapting to a changing environment.
