Speakers and panelists focus on topics across all aspects of well-being to improve attendees knowledge of comprehensive health literacy. The HLRC aims to engage students by presenting research conducted by fellow UCLA students to improve health literacy and awareness. Workshops will be available for students to increase their personal health literacy including a UC Student Health Insurance Policy presentation, a CPR/First Aid training, and a health equity discussion. The conference will be an opportunity for students to gain tools which they can apply to increasing health literacy beyond their time at UCLA.
