Come together to practice being present. Come together to foster joy and connection. Come together to enjoy good food! This social gathering will include a somatic practice toward individual and collective centering. Somatics is a practice of and an inquiry into being present with what is while creating space for being more choice-full in our lives. This is a safe and welcoming space for LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC folks. A curated menu of traditional tuscan foods are included in the purchase of your ticket. All items will be vegetarian. March 26th @ 4:00 PM Vibes and Fades : 1641 W. 15th st. Suite 5 Fayetteville AR $30 per person Heidee Lyn Alsdorf (she/they) is a freelance dance-theatre artist, body-worker, and facilitator from Northwest Arkansas. Heidee holds a BFA in Dance Performance from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, and an MFA in Physical Threatre from Accademia dell’Arte (IT/DE/CZ) in partnership with Mississippi University for Women. They are a somatic practitioner with a certificate in Embodied Social Justice from Transformative Justice and a certification in Dry Massage Therapy from Oligenesi in Florence, Italy. Heidee is committed to holding space for collective practice. Their approach praxis in art and life is decidedly anti-cartesian, collaborative, and emergent interlacing critical explorations in somatic experiencing, impulse, gesture, and community building. Matteo Cassi (he/him), a musician and private chef, moved to Northwest Arkansas from Tuscany, Italy in 2022. Matteo holds a degree in High Italian Kitchen from Accademia Italiano Chef in Florence, a degree in Anthropology and another in Modern and Contemporary History from La Sapienza University of Rome. He has toured United States and Europe with his band, Walden Waltz. Most recently, Matteo has composed and produced music for film, television, radio, dance and theatre.
