Learn to create beautiful outdoor containers with an artist's eye! Author, artist, and "GROW" column contributor for Pacific NW Magazine and The Seattle Times, Lorene Edwards Forkner, leads this hands-on workshop where she demonstrates how to let color inspire your container plantings. You will learn to identify the "hidden hues" to echo among the plants, tying the whole composition together in a living work of art. Each participant will receive 1 hour of instruction, a 16" faux stone patio bowl, potting soil, and your choice of plants from pre-selected annuals and perennials. The finished product will be perfect for a porch, patio, or outdoor table. Lorene's books are available for purchase and she will be available for questions and book signing after the workshop.
