This summer CSTP is hosting two sessions in-person at the Rainbow Lodge Retreat Center in North Bend, WA including "Teacher Leadership Skills for Collaborative Teams" and "Collaboration and Communication for Equity Focused Teacher Leadership".  Our intimate sessions are limited to 25 attendees and focus on connecting educators while diving into important topics. These sessions are an excellent jump start for educators getting ready for the new school year with options to register for one or both learning sessions. Be sure to register by June 8 to take advantage of Early Bird pricing. Session I: Teacher Leadership Skills for Collaborative Teams Dates: 12:00 PM on July 26, 2023- 11:30 AM on July 27, 2023  Early Bird Price March 6-June 8: $195.00 (or combine with another session for $375 (save $15) Regular Registration Price June 9-July 10: $220.00 (or combine with another session for $400) Clock Hours: 8 Included in Registration: One night of overnight lodging at Rainbow Lodge, one lunch, one dinner, one breakfast, snacks, unlimited coffee and soda, clock hours and all session materials Description: Rooted in CSTP’s Teacher Leadership Framework, this session is designed to specifically address the knowledge skills and dispositions educators need to successfully work with and lead teams. This session will address all six sections of the Leadership Framework, (Working With Adult Learners, Communication, Collaboration, Knowledge of Content and Pedagogy, Systems Thinking and Equity Lens) and guide participants to reflect on their own strengths and opportunities for growth in their ability to lead successful collaborative teams. Session Objectives: Explore the CSTP Teacher Leadership Skills Framework Reflect on strengths and growth opportunities to build capacity to lead or participate in peer groups Identify and plan collaboration based on assets and focused on becoming a high functioning and high impact team----------------------------------- Session II: Collaboration and Communication for Equity Focused Teacher Leadership Dates:12:00 PM on July 27, 2023 - 11:30 AM on July 28, 2023  Early Bird Price March 6-June 8: $195.00 (or combine with another session for $375 (save $15) Regular Registration Price June 9-July 10: $220.00 (or combine with another session for $400) Clock Hours: 8 Included in Registration: One night of overnight lodging at Rainbow Lodge, one lunch, one dinner, one breakfast, snacks, unlimited coffee and soda, clock hours and all session materials Description: If you’ve experienced CSTP’s Teacher Leadership Framework before or not at all, you’ll want to attend this new session to explore the knowledge, skills and dispositions necessary to lead equity focused conversations with colleagues. During this session participants will explore components of teacher leadership with a focus on the communication and collaboration skills necessary to have hard conversations about race and equity in our schools and systems. Educators will have an opportunity to investigate and reflect on their own strengths and areas for growth. We will model and practice the use of protocols and structures to support difficult and necessary learning focused conversations to increase collaboration. Participants will leave this session with a solid foundation for understanding teacher leadership, as well as practical resources they can implement immediately with colleagues in order to more effectively work together for the benefit of the students we serve. Each attendee receives their own sleeping room with a washing sink; however, men's and women's restrooms with showers are shared. Coffee, tea, water, soda and snacks are available 24 hours during your stay. Due to the exclusive nature of the retreat center, family members are unable to join participants overnight or during the meeting. Cancellation Policy: March 6, 2023 - July 1, 2023: $25 non-refundable fee per each registration July 2, 2023 or later: 0% refundable Attendee substitutions are allowed on a case-by-case basis.
