Explore the legacy of the LA River on this family friendly walking tour with Nature for All where we'll cover the topics of Tongva people's use of the river, the historic floods that led to the concrete corridor we've come to know, and recreational use of the river. 📍South Gate and its surrounding communities are Tongva lands. Respect the space and the community. FAQsCan I bring my children? Yes Where can I park? Parking available at the lot located at the end of Monroe Street. What should I bring? Pets are permitted compliant with park and river guidelines. Unleashed pets are not allowed. How difficult will this be? Easy. Do I have to bring a printed ticket? No Do I have to wear a mask? At the time of writing masks are not required, but we will remain flexible and are following CDC COVID-19 guidelines and LA County COVID-19 guidelines.
