Hartnell College presents its 17th Annual STEAM Family Science Day Sunday, April 30th, 2023, on Main Campus, 411 Central Avenue, Salinas, CA, in the Willard Lewallen STEM Center. The STEAM Family Science Day will be from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. This free event is open to the public, and parking will be accessible on campus. This is a great day to enjoy with the entire family, have fun learning, and learn about the offerings at Hartnell. Some of the activities and services offered include: • Hands-On Activities • Health Screenings • Music • Science Demonstrations • And More Community Partners Include: • Special Performance from Ballet Folkloric • Lean Green Reading Machine by Monterey County Free Libraries • Salinas Science Workshop on Wheels ( SS WoW) • Sea Otter Savvy • And More Highlights include Meet and Greet with: • Astronaut Dr. Jim Newman • Olympic Gold Medal Winner Monica Abbott Hartnell College student clubs, staff, and faculty will highlight the fantastic world of science to inspire the next generation of scientists in the Salinas Valley.
