This training opportunity is intended to teach the best practices for volunteers that serve communities in Disaster Spiritual Care roles after a disaster occurs. The class is open to members of faith based, governmental, and non-profit organizations. This class is an event hosted through the collaboration of the American Red Cross and the Emotional/Spiritual Care Committee of the Iowa Disaster Human Resource Council (Iowa State VOAD). On the day of the event, class registration will be at 9:30 am and the class will begin at 10am. Lunch and refreshments will be served. A certificate of completion will be given to those that have registered for the event.
