Ramadan (the month of fasting for Muslims) is a month of self-purification and giving for Muslims. We, as Muslims, want to celebrate and honor those who give tirelessly in our Murfreesboro Community by hosting a Non-profit Appreciation Iftar (Dinner).
Members of local non-profits and volunteers will be hosted for dinner by local businesses and families in the community as a gesture of appreciation for what they do to better our community.
The Murfreesboro Muslim Youth will be presenting two awards and monetary gifts. One to a "Distinguished Community Service Organization" and one to a "Distinguished Community Service Volunteer".
