Stray Cat is teaming up with KC Center for Inclusion for a date night so romantic, you are guaranteed to feel the wrath of cupid's bow. All proceeds will go toward the crucial work KCCI does for our LGBTQ+ community! Yr ticket includes snacks from the Cauldron Collective and pre-show entertainment from local musical & poetic Romeos. Doors at 6, show at 6:30. We'll be watching the cutest teen lesbian love story--romance, comedy, melodrama, & a young Tina from The L Word...it truly has it all. Randy is a dorky dyke romantic who spends her days dreaming of rock & roll stardom, flunking out of high school, & working at the local gas station as a baby mechanic. She's content with barely-skating-by slackerdom until she meets Evie, the kind of got-it-together perfect girl who makes the heart do frantic afterhours donuts. It's a classic Romeo & Juliet story with love raging against all of the world's bounds. It's also the rare product of a queer woman filmmaker at the creative helm.
