Description

Gabe Sherman has a track record of building highly effective teams and communications strategies throughout his nearly 20 years of experience in the public and private sectors. He served as the NASA Chief of Staff during the Trump Administration, leading strategic communications for the agency as NASA returned human spaceflight to American soil, secured bi-partisan and international support for the Artemis Program, and launched the Perseverance Rover to Mars. In this role, he managed relationships with the White House, National Space Council, the Office of Science and Technology Policy, and the Office of Management and Budget on behalf of the agency. He also led the team responsible for establishing the agency’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic for the nearly 60,000 contractors and 20,000 civil service employees across the country. Prior to leaving the agency, Gabe was awarded the Distinguished Service Medal, NASA’s highest honor, for his leadership in strategic communications. Before NASA, Gabe served for six years as the District Director and Campaign Manager for United States Congressman Jim Bridenstine, whom he’d originally met during his time as the Marketing Director for the Tulsa Air and Space Museum and Planetarium. Currently, he is a managing partner at 39BRAVO, a strategic communications firm he started after leaving NASA in January of 2021. Gabe holds a bachelor’s degree from East Central University where he played college baseball and lives in Owasso with his wife and two daughters. He is a deacon at Harvest Baptist Church in Verdigris where he is heavily involved with men’s ministry, discipleship training, and small group ministries. Gabe will share with us about discovering our IDENTITY in Jesus… especially when our earthly assignments change. Your $12 ticket will cover your buffet breakfast. We are meeting in the Fellowship Hall, so feel free to park in front of the flag poles. The Breakfast starts at 6:45 am and will end promptly at 7:45 am. If you buy 8 tickets or more, we will automatically reserve a table for you in the name of your choice. Honored to serve you! Johnie Hampton & Marc Marroquin, Event Hosts To best prepare for the breakfast, table reserved ticket sales will cut off Wednesday before the event at 11pm and individual ticket sales will end the day before the event at noon.
