Want to learn the steps of a commercial pattern and how to add elastic to anything? This Pant Class will walk you through the language and steps to follow a commercial pattern, adding elastic to the waistband, and making sure the hem is the right length. No pockets or tailoring in this class, that comes later. This is a two part series where we meet on the same day once a week for two weeks, often two Mondays or Tuesdays in a row. Need a different time of day then what is offered? Just email us [email protected] and we can craft a class for you, your friends, or a work group too. We will be making these useful items next to the art gallery Slip in Belltown on brand new sewing machines from Quality Sew and Vacuum, who we love for machine sales and repairs too. Surfaces will be cleaned, there will be an air filter and masks could be required. We have tools and materials for sale, should you need them, otherwise here is your supplies list. Please bring these items, we recommend going to Stitches 3-4yds of pre-washed woven material (non-stretch) Pant Pattern in your size - We recommend these patterns as a loose suggestion: Simplicity 5314, 1446, 3971, 4101, 1563, 102, 6859, 1642, 8179 … anything along those lines. 1yd of ½”-1” elastic We provide these supplies and they are available for purchase from us too: Scissors Pins Rulers Chalk For any and all questions google can't answer, please email the instructor Katy at [email protected] *There is a $50 non-refundable fee should you decide to cancel, and cancelations must happen 24hrs prior to the event via email to [email protected] otherwise the ticket is 100% non-refundable.
