Community - Conference on Landscape ArchitectureThere is no denying that communities have looked different over the past three years. In some areas, communities have grown sparse and unsteady while adjusting to ever-changing normality; in other areas circumstances have ignited communities with creativity for engagement and passion for connection. Regardless of the situation the result is clear: communities have been greatly impacted during the COVID-19 pandemic. The field of landscape architecture involves utilizing planning, design, management, and nurturing of the built and natural environment to strengthen communities. At ASLA Kentucky’s annual meeting, 2023 Community: Conference on Landscape Architecture, landscape architects, designers, and planners across Kentucky will convene to review how the profession has strengthened communities in the past, discuss the role landscape architects have in connecting communities today, and plan how landscape architecture will assist in future community building. The event anticipates a maximum of 9 CEU Credit hours to be approved by the KY LA Board. CEU Tracking will be done on-site. Buy early! March 3rd is the last day for early bird registration.
