Come experience engineering with Charlotte Engineering!Reimagined to engage students in elementary, middle school, and high school and their families to engineering, Discover Engineering is sure to be a family favorite! Our engineering students, faculty, and staff have interactive activities and demonstrations which are sure to excite your future engineers. Taking place on University of North Carolina at Charlotte's beautiful campus, Discover Engineering will be an annual event feature student organizations, engineering departments, and some of our partners. Bring your scout group, robotics team, school group, neighborhood, or family to experience all that Charlotte Engineering has to offer!Logistics: Arrive on campus and park in one of the convenient lots near Duke Centennial Hall, parking passes are not required on weekends. You'll see our balloons and tents from the nearest parking lots so head to our check in table. We will get you set up with a map of all of our exciting tables which showcase various student organizations and academic departments within the William States Lee College of Engineering. Next, spend some time exploring each table! You'll see cool demonstrations, try out innovative ideas, and solve some problems for yourself- transforming into an engineer for the day! When you're done, you can bring your map back to the check in table for a prize! Head off smiling to check out the rest of campus or head home to relax after a fun afternoon!
