ADDRESS: Lodoga side address is 4415 Sites Lodoga Road, Stonyford, CA 95979Reserved campsite: L-120 to L-123, collectively called the Pig Pen on the map Spring has sprung in the hills of Colusa County. Come let the invigorating surge of juicy new growth revive your spirit and soothe your soul. Queerburners invites you to an off-grid escape to the East Park Reservoir, a hidden gem in the foothills of the Mendocino National Forest. Dust off your camping gear for a casual weekend getaway with friends, new and old. The Ten Principles will guide our intentions and behaviors. In alignment with the greater Burning Man community, we endeavor explicitly to be inclusive, sustainable, and connected. Everyone will be responsible for their own food, shelter, and transportation*. Feel free to bring your special dish or trademark treat to share. Or recreate a theme camp with all the blinky lights or colored flags or set up your own cocktail bar. You can pitch your tent solo on a low, secluded bluff overlooking the reservoir or erect a small village at the edge of the crystal blue water. With plenty of space to spread out, our aim is to relax and reconnect while we have fun and frolic. The vibe is mindful, easy, and chill. Don't forget to bring your playa magic! About QueerburnersQueerburners is a 501c3 nonprofit organization registered in 2021. Our mission is to cultivate inclusive spaces for LGBTQIA+ people and allies by fostering community and leadership. Queerburners centers diversity, equity, and inclusion as core values of our community. Consent culture and safe, accountable places are key tenets of Queerburners, particularly for people of color and transgender and non-binary persons. About the GatheringWe have created a soft and supple event container with plenty of flexibility and extra capacity built-in. Everyone is invited to express their vision for our time together and co-create the contents of this vessel. Everyone is welcome to share their unique talents with our community, and we celebrate the opportunity to honor the gift of YOU! Do you have an activity or workshop to lead? The possibilities are endless: yoga, meditation, massage/spa treatments, face painting, nail polish, BBQ master, mixologist, waterfront games, boat racing, fishing, group hike or bike. Are you a singer, musician, sketch actor, improv artist, poi dancer, stand-up comic, or performer of any kind, or a natural emcee who can pull together a talent show? Bring your guitar, drums, gear, and your costume closet and let's put on Queerdos Got Talent! Are you an artist? Bring your art as an exhibition or display to set the mood for your theme camp area.
