As warmer temperatures arrive, we all start to think about boat and beach days, spring break, and right around the corner, summer. So we thought it might be a great time to learn about one of our favorite spring and summer spirits. In this month’s Cocktail Class, you will have the opportunity to learn and sample some of the award-winning rums from Brugal. Make plans to join us on Wednesday, March 15 from 6-7 PM at the DIME for this fun evening complete with rum tasting, a fun new cocktail, and, of course, delicious bites provided by the culinary team at The DIME and Kingstide. Andres Brugal founded Brugal & Co. in 1888 in the Dominican Republic, after leaving his home in Spain in search of more opportunities and possibilities. What started as a small family business has grown into an international family through the generations, and while the family has grown, their master rum makers have continued to push the boundaries of rum-making to produce the best rum possible. The Brugal rums are aged in American and Spanish oak and are delicious on their own and in cocktails, and we will have the pleasure of trying them both ways. As always, we hope to see you there!
