Description

Held in our outdoor classroom and play garden on Monday mornings, starting April 4th going through April 25th. Natural Family Rhythms  Parent-Child Class  Come enjoy a sweet and magical time of gathering with other parents and children in our outdoor classroom and play garden where bunnies roam and chickens await treats. In this series for parents and children (ages 2 to 3.5 years), parents and caregivers will gain an understanding of how to support the processes of early childhood. Past participants share that they treasured their time in our Parent Child class as a time of shifting into presence and watching their child explore with wonder and joy.  Together we will intentionally step into these mornings of gentle rhythm, one that can easily be replicated to help create harmony in your own home routines. Led my Parent Child educator, Miss Andrea, we will learn about the natural unfolding of your child's development and ways to support that process through conscious parenting. 4 Sessions Mondays, 10:00am-11:30am Create healthy daily rhythms for your family Discuss and learn ways to find balance in caregiving Gain an understanding of ways to find enjoyment from long outdoor play periods Learn seasonal songs, finger plays, puppet shows Share experiences and questions Bring joy to your daily parenting tasks Learn and grow together in community This class requires a minimum number of four (4) participant families to run In Parent Child class, parents and young children come together in an inviting space that echoes the rhythms and the warmth we provide here in our preschool but on a shorter schedule. Parents will participate with their children in learning songs and finger plays, preparing and sharing a snack, caring for our animals (chickens and bunnies), tending the garden, playing games and enjoying physical movement. They will lovingly be guided through discussions about early childhood while the children are encouraged to explore and engage in imaginative play. This is a gentle way to support you and your child during these early years. This is also an opportunity to learn more about our preschool program that is based on LifeWays education as well as give your child some experience in the program should you choose to send them here.
